Join the Health Center at Auraria and other campus representatives at Building Bridges: An Autism Experience, open to all Auraria students, faculty, and staff. This event includes speakers, “Ask a Neurodivergent” panels, resource fair, low-contact activities, and higher-contact interactive activities.

This webpage contains digital versions of handouts available at Building Bridges. Two of the Word document handouts are noted as having a visual focus and have notes for screen reader users.

Schedule:

Resource fair and low-contact activities run throughout the entire event.

Interactive activities switch out every 30 minutes on the following rotation.

  • Context Sensitive: have some fun exploring why context matters and how we can help each other and ourselves build more context in our day-to-day interactions.
  • Imposter: work within set boundaries to try to identify the imposter before they finish their task! How much do you judge others based on certain characteristics?
  • Who Am I?: connect with your core self and reflect on the difference between your core self and your masks.
