The Metropolitan State University of Denver Center for Teaching, Learning and Design (CTLD) provides professional learning resources, activities, and support, designed to help all faculty flourish as teachers, scholars, and colleagues. CTLD strives to create and facilitate an academic climate where faculty partner with fellow faculty so all may reach their full professional potential.
Strengthen the academic climate by raising awareness of current developments in teaching and learning, research and scholarly publishing, and leadership and service.
Foster inclusive cross-disciplinary collaboration by facilitating the sharing of resources, skills, and knowledge across programs and partnering with other professional units.
Promote, sustain, and support state-of-the-art teaching and learning initiatives at the institutional level.
Support the development of early career faculty professionals and their integration and inclusiveness into the campus community.
The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design directly supports MSU Denver’s primary mission of offering excellence in teaching and learning. We empower the entire academic community at MSU Denver by promoting instructional methods that increase equity, engagement, and success for both students and faculty at all levels of experience, in all course formats.
