What is the CTLD Celebration of Faculty?

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design works with amazing faculty year round, from those who have been proactive with Instructional Accessibility to those involved in course development projects and Faculty Learning Communities, and many others.

These instructors have done the important work of improving their teaching, their courses, and their impact on students at MSU Denver. We invite faculty members who have worked with CTLD in the last year, along with their chairs and deans, to celebrate their work with us.

A catered meal, collegial discussion and networking, and a digital poster session to highlight faculty work are included! Please RSVP if you plan to attend this event. While we will be streaming the event this year, remote participation will not be available.

Join us as we gather to Recognize the Following Folks (and more)

• Instructors who have finished the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE Effective Teaching Practices course. In this ACUE pinning ceremony, Department Chairs are invited to award ACUE pins on the newly certified instructors.
• Instructors who complete a course-development project in the last year, along with special recognition for two projects each from the Spring cycle and Fall cycle. This group is specifically recognized by the Instructional Design Group.
• CTLD Peer Associates and participants in Faculty Learning Communities and the New Faculty Institute from this past year.
• Faculty who are accessibility advocates and demonstrate proactive accessibility in their instruction, research, and trainings.
