CTLD Celebration of Faculty

What is the CTLD Celebration of Faculty?

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design works with amazing faculty year round. From course-development projects and the ACUE Effective Teaching Practices certification course, to Faculty Learning Communities and those who have completed the Proactive Accessibility Certification workshop series. These instructors are engaged in the hard work of improving their teaching, but we often fail to celebrate that work.

We invite these faculty, their chairs and deans to celebrate these instructors and their commitment to the students of MSU Denver.

Join us as we gather to Recognize the Following Folks (and more)

• Instructors who have finished the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE Effective Teaching Practices course during the 2022-2023 school year. We will have an ACUE pinning ceremony in which Department Chairs are invited to place pins on the newly certified instructors.
• Instructors who complete a course-development project in the last year, along with special recognition for two projects from the previous years Spring cycle and this years Fall cycle. This group is specifically recognized by the Instructional Design Group.
• Participants in Faculty Learning Communities, New Faculty Institute, and the Teaching Visit Exchange form this past year.
• Faculty (and staff) who have completed the Proactive Accessibility Certification workshops.

We Celebrate the Work and Dedication of these Faculty By

During this celebration, we provide a catered meal, certificates of recognition and/or completion, an ACUE pinning ceremony and more.

This event happen at the end of the spring semester and will have more details available soon.
