CBUS Student Ambassadors

Required Events

Eligibility for the CBUS Student Ambassador Program requires students to be enrolled in at least one of the College of Business departments: Accounting, Computer Information Systems & Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, Management, or Marketing.

You must be able to attend all mandatory events (listed below): 
• Friday, August 28th – Ambassador Welcome Meeting: 9:00am – 12:30pm
• Wednesday, September 2nd – CBUS Welcome Back Bash (at least an hour of your time)
• Friday, September 11th – Ambassador Meeting: 9:30am – 11:00am
• Tuesday, October 6th OR Wednesday, October 7th: 10:00 am – 2:00pm Coffee and Crafts with Ambassadors (at least an hour of your time)
• Friday, October 16th – Ambassador Meeting: 9:30am – 11:00am
• Friday, November 13th – Ambassador Meeting: 9:30am – 11:00am
• Friday, December 4th – End-of-Semester Celebration: 9:00am-10:30am

You must attend at least one additional event throughout the semester:
• Saturday, August 15th – Convocation
• Saturday, TBD – Open House
• More will be announced closer to the semester

Optional events might come up throughout the semester such as visits with high school students. These asks could come in a couple days in advance. It is not a requirement that you attend one of these events, but it would be much appreciated and a great leadership opportunity.

For the Fall 2026 Ambassador Program you must be nominated by a staff or faculty member within the College of Business, so if you are interested in applying, reach out to your professor today!
