CBUS Student Ambassadors

The CBUS Student Ambassador Program connects passionate, driven business students with meaningful opportunities to represent the College of Business at MSU Denver. More than just a leadership role, this program empowers ambassadors to shape the future of CBUS by sharing their voices, inspiring their peers, and fostering a strong sense of community both on campus and online. Through authentic storytelling, student-led initiatives, and peer-to-peer connections, ambassadors bring the CBUS experience to life by building pride, belonging, and lasting impact across events, digital platforms, and outreach efforts.

Why Become a CBUS Ambassador?

As a CBUS Ambassador, you’ll gain valuable leadership and marketing experience that will help build your resume and prepare you for future opportunities. You’ll have the chance to expand your professional network by connecting with faculty, staff, and industry partners, while also being featured in CBUS marketing campaigns such as social media spotlights, blog posts, and videos. Ambassadors enjoy exclusive perks, including a custom CBUS T-shirt, swag, and a professional photoshoot, and at the end of your term, you’ll receive a certificate of recognition celebrating your contributions.

Your Role as an Ambassador

Represent the College of Business at events, open houses, and volunteer initiatives. Contribute to social media takeovers, reels, and student-focused content. Share advice, showcase campus life, and help incoming students feel connected to CBUS. Participate in monthly meetups, photoshoots, and special ambassador activities.

Other Engagement Opportunities

Other engagement opportunities for CBUS Student Ambassadors include helping plan or co-host student events such as networking mixers or finals week giveaways, as well as partnering with clubs or student organizations for collaborative initiatives. Ambassadors may also participate in marketing brainstorms or student feedback sessions, write short spotlight features for the newsletter, and serve as informal mentors or points of contact for new CBUS students.

Students and friends gather on the JSSB Lawn for Roadrunners After Dark live music, vendors and artisans, food trucks, and glow-in-the-dark fun.

Requirements for Fall 2025 CBUS Ambassadors

Required Events

The Following 4 Events are Mandatory:
• Friday, August 29 – Kickoff Event (Photoshoot + Interview Day)
• Friday, October 17 – Ambassador Meet-up (Content creation + brainstorming session)
• Friday, November 14 – Ambassador Meet-up (Web updates + feedback session)
• Friday, December 5 – End-of-Semester Celebration

Additional Events (you must attend at least one):
• Wednesday, September 3rd – 10:00am-2:00pm – CBUS Welcome Back Bash
• Tuesday, September 23rd – 12:30-1:45pm – Steve Forbes – The Importance of Freedom and Free Enterprise in America Event
