My name is AliSina, and I’m a Business Management and Marketing student at MSU Denver. I enjoy meeting new people, getting involved on campus, playing volleyball, and trying new things. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and make new connections.

What does a typical day look like for you during the semester?
A typical day for me includes attending classes, working, participating in meetings or campus events, and working on my assignments. I also enjoy getting involved in different activities and connecting with other students on campus.

What brought you to MSU Denver?
I chose MSU Denver because of its diverse and welcoming community and the opportunities it offers students. I also liked the College of Business and felt that MSU Denver would be a great place for me to grow academically and professionally.

What area of business are you most passionate about?
I’m most passionate about management and marketing. I enjoy learning about leadership, working with people, building relationships, and finding creative ways to connect businesses with their customers.

What’s your favorite College of Business memory so far?
One of my favorite memories has been attending College of Business events and networking with students, professors, and professionals. These experiences have helped me meet new people and feel more connected to the CBUS community.

What’s one piece of advice for new students? And/or what’s something you wish you knew before college?
My advice is to get involved and don’t be afraid to talk to new people. Join clubs, attend events, talk to your professors, and take advantage of opportunities. College is not only about classes the connections and experiences you make are also very important.
