Faculty Panels

Faculty in the Department of Social Work are a wealth of knowledge – all faculty have earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or higher and have worked in the field prior to entering higher education. Join us at a faculty panel this fall to learn more about different areas of social work as we dive deep with our faculty experts!

No registration is required for Faculty Panels – just click the Zoom link below to join. Waiting rooms are enabled on Zoom, and participants will be let in from the waiting room at the start of the session.

Master of Social Work Program Information Sessions

The Office of Social Work Student Services is rethinking the traditional information session with our unique approach – Meet the MSW Program: Program and Application Overview. These online sessions allow you to ask questions and receive answers from faculty and staff anywhere you have an internet connection. Sessions will start with a short 10-15 minute presentation about the MSW Program and application process.

Following the presentation, we will move into an open chat where you can ask questions and get answers from staff in the Department of Social Work who specialize in admissions, advising, and internship experience. You can engage in the chat either using the text-based chat (no webcam or microphone required) or by talking to us over the Zoom call. We look forward to answering your questions and guiding you on your journey!

No registration is required – just click the Zoom link below to join. Waiting rooms are enabled on Zoom, and participants will be let in from the waiting room at the start of the session.

If you have any questions about the MSW Program, please email [email protected]. If you would like to meet with an advisor one-on-one, please call our Welcome Desk at 303-615-0555 to schedule an appointment.

MSW Preview Day

MSW Preview Day is designed to give prospective students a chance to learn more about the Master of Social Work Program at MSU Denver, take a deep dive into the application process, and create connections with social work faculty and staff.

The first part of the event will consist of presentations and Q&A with our admissions, advising, and field education teams. The second part of the event will transition into open breakout rooms with faculty, staff, and current students. During this time, attendees can visit as many or as few breakout rooms as they want and then log off for the night when their questions have all been answered!
