Faculty Panels

Faculty in the Department of Social Work are a wealth of knowledge – all faculty have earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or higher and have worked in the field prior to entering higher education. Join us at a faculty panel this fall to learn more about different areas of social work as we dive deep with our faculty experts!

Have a question for one of our faculty panels? Drop them into our question catcher and your question may be asked during the panel!

No RSVP is required for Faculty Panels – just click the Zoom link below to join. Waiting rooms are enabled on Zoom, and participants will be let in from the waiting room at the start of the session.

Bachelor of Science in Social Work Information Sessions

The Office of Social Work Student Services is rethinking the traditional information session with our unique approach – Lunch Break Chats. These online chats allow you to ask questions and receive answers from faculty and staff anywhere you have an internet connection. We do not have any upcoming lunch break chats scheduled for the BSSW Program, but if you sign up for our prospective student list, you will be notified when more dates become available!

BSSW Program Lunch Break Chats will begin with a short 10 minute presentation about the BSSW Program, application, and how the Office of Social Work Student Services can support you, followed by an open chat where you can ask questions and get answers from members of the Department of Social Work. You can engage in the chat either using the text-based chat (no webcam or microphone required) or by talking to us over the Zoom call. We look forward to answering your questions and guiding you on your journey!

If you have any questions about the BSSW Program, please email [email protected]. If you would like to meet with an advisor one-on-one, please call our Welcome Desk at 303-615-0555 to schedule an appointment.

The first part of the event will consist of presentations and Q&A with our admissions, advising, and field education teams. The second part of the event will transition into open breakout rooms with faculty, staff, and current students. During this time, attendees can visit as many or as few breakout rooms as they want and then log off for the night when their questions have all been answered!
