Travel Grants

Student Travel Grants can be used to fund individual students, pairs or groups for students.  Students can use funds once a fiscal year July 1 – June 30.  Funds are available for students to attend:

  • Conferences
  • Conventions
  • Seminars
  • Workshops

Program provide funds for:

  • Registration
  • Transportation
  • Lodging
  • Food

Funding Proposals Deadline is 30 Days Prior to travel

The lead student must fill out a Consultation Request Form

You will need to include the following on the form:

  • Name
  • Name of Event and Location
  • The webpage link to the event
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Dates of travel
  • List the names (first and last) of all students in your group
  • Name of travel advisor
  • Provide availability for Consultation Meeting

Student Travel Waiver, Responsibilities and Conduct Waiver

Must be filled out by each traveler

  • Students full name
  • Event
  • Travel dates
  • Semester of travel
  • Name of lead student
  • Date of birth
  • Gender on Government ID
  • MSU Denver student ID
  • How many times have you traveled out of Colorado
  • Gender Identity
  • Race
  • First Generation
  • Email, Phone Number, Mailing Address
  • Major
  • Student Type
  • Affiliation

Funding Amounts

Amounts of funding:

  • Individual Funding $650
  • Pair Funding $1,300
  • Group Funding (3 or more students) $1,800
