MAP Spring 2024 Undergraduate Research

MSU-Anschutz Program for Undergraduate Research Scholars (MAP) Two Tracks of Research:
  • General Track
    The General Track is intended to be an introduction to research. Anyone can apply. Freshmen and sophomore are highly encouraged to apply. Requires one semester commitment.
  • Research Track
    The Research Track is for Juniors and Seniors. No prior research experience needed. Minimal 15 hours per week during the semester, full time during summer. There is a 15 month commitment. The main requirement is enthusiasm and interest.

Dr. Julia Cooper: the biology of telomeres
Dr. Suja Jagannathan: mRNA surveillance in health and disease
Dr. Srinivas Ramachandran: chromosome regulation in budding yeast
Dr. Olivia Rissland: protein decay during early embryogenesis
Dr. Matt Taliaferro: subcellular RNA localization
Dr. Lydia Heasley: Genome Structure, Stability, and Evolution

Each Track is paid $20.00 per hour
