For information about the MSU Denver Commencement Ceremony, please visit the Commencement website. The Department of Social Work is part of the College of Health & Human Sciences and will participate in the commencement ceremony for that college.

BSSW Program Graduation Celebration

For over 20 years, an end of year student recognition has been held to honor and celebrate the achievements of our undergraduate social work students. This special event is held to recognize the achievements of our BSSW graduates in front of their family and friends.

MSW Program Pinning & Hooding Ceremony

The MSW Pinning and Hooding ceremony is a unique recognition for graduates of the MSW Program. We honor MSW graduates as they are hooded and receive an MSW Program pin in front of their family and friends.

The MSW Pinning and Hooding ceremony is a unique recognition for graduates of the MSW Program. We honor MSW graduates as they are hooded and receive an MSW Program pin in front of their family and friends. MSW graduates must wear caps, gowns, and bring their hoods to participate in this ceremony.
