What is a presidential event or meeting?
President Davidson hosts a myriad of reoccurring events and meetings that are hosted over the course of each academic year. From planning to execution, the University Events team supports each presidential event and meeting. Below you will find information on each of these events.
President's Fireside Chats
The President's Fireside Chats is an intimate event, part of an on-going series that range in ideas and topics, while providing opportunities for academic courses to engage with local leaders.
President's Welcome Back
The President's Welcome Back is the state of the university address while President Davidson welcomes all faculty and staff back to campus and charges them for the upcoming academic year.
President's Spring Update
President Davidson hosts the Spring Update to provide a state of the university address and updating all faculty and staff before the end of the academic year.
President's Cabinet
Meeting on a monthly basis, members of the cabinet equally represent various branches of the university.
Commencement
Commencement is President Davidson's favorite day of the year. At the end of the fall and spring semesters, MSU Denver celebrates graduates and their achievements with two ceremonies at the Denver Coliseum.
