What is a presidential event or meeting?

President Davidson hosts a myriad of reoccurring events and meetings that are hosted over the course of each academic year. From planning to execution, the University Events team supports each presidential event and meeting. Below you will find information on each of these events.

President's Welcome Back

President Davidson's Welcome Back provides a warm welcome back to staff, faculty, and student employees and provides an update on the state of the University.

President's Spring Update

President Davidson's Spring Update is an opportunity for the campus community to come together to network and to learn more about the state of the University going into the Spring Semester.

President's Fireside Chat

President Davidson's Fireside Chat occurs twice per academic year and aims to connect students in related academic courses, access to local experts in an intimate conversational setting.

President's Speaker Series

The President’s Speaker Series brings local, national and international industry leaders, prominent alumni, innovators and trailblazers to campus for dialogue about the most pressing issues of our day.

President's Cabinet Meeting

President’s Cabinet consists of members that equally represent each unit of the University . The meeting is hosted on a recurring monthly basis.
