Biography

Dr. Harcourt has been a professional social worker for over 25 years. She is a therapist and provides consultation, program development, staff training and lectures to mental health, juvenile justice, Universities and child welfare agencies. In her clinical practice, she has worked in residential, inpatient psychiatry and community mental health settings. Dr. Harcourt was involved in developing the Children’s Crisis Intervention Service (CCIS) system in New Jersey and has served as a principal member of collaborative management initiatives in New Jersey and Colorado. Dr. Harcourt received her Master of Social Work degree from the School of Social Work and her Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from Rutgers University-Graduate School New Brunswick. Presently, she is a principal in a practice serving the Gulf Coast of Alabama and supervising therapists working in the Roaring Fork valley Colorado.
