MHA Handbook

The MHA Handbook is your ultimate guide to the program from Admission to Graduation and beyond! At admission, each student received a customized MHA Handbook that has information specific to their admission requirements. But you can download the General MHA Handbook for your use as needed here.

MHA Academic Advising

It is required that each MHA student complete at least one advising session per semester. You can request advising using the instructions of the MHA Academic Advising webpage.

REQUEST ADVISING

Professional Organization Membership

Each MHA student, we sponsor your first year of membership in two professional organizations. The two organizations are American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE), and National Association of Latino Health Care Executives (NALHE)  After your first year of paid membership, you will be responsible in choosing to maintain the membership in these organizations. Below are the instructions to become a member and obtain your reimbursement.

American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE)

  1. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FALL START STUDENTS– Sign up for membership On SEPTEMBER 1 or later. If you sign up before September 1, you will only be charged for the remaining year. But if you become a member on September 1 or later, your membership will include the remaining year and the next calendar year.
  2. Sign up for a student membership on ACHE’s website.
  3. Once paid, Send the receipt of your membership to [email protected] and the MHA program will reimburse you for the cost as a scholarship on your msudenver account.
  4. This membership is for both the National Organization and the Colorado Chapter.

National Association of Latino Health Care Executives (NALHE)

  1. Visit their website and begin the student membership application.
  2. Use this code to sign up for free when checking out: nalhe-vip2023
