Division Mission
Provides a practical, interdisciplinary education to individuals in an accessible and student-centered environment. The Division of Mathematics and Sciences provides scientific literacy to all students through inclusive, student-centered pedagogy. We seek to develop critical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and social responsibility to prepare students for successful careers, postgraduate education and lifelong learning in a multicultural, global and technological society. To fulfill its mission, the Division of Mathematics and Science offers meaningful connections between faculty and students and engages the greater Denver community at large in scholarly inquiry, creative activity, and the application of knowledge.
