Biography
Dr. Ann Sullivan is a Lecture Faculty member of Social Work in the Department of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She earned her MSW, and PhD in social work at Colorado State University. Prior to being on the faculty at MSU Denver, she worked in community mental health initiatives serving youth and families. She was part of the Colorado collaborative management initiate in Boulder County. An area of focus was work with emerging adults and supportive housing. Dr. Sullivan began her social work career in child welfare as a Child Welfare Scholar with a focus on adolescents and court collaborations. Her career as a social worker and social work academic has centered on youth and families and emerging adult populations. She has found a passion in teaching decolonized approaches to practice based courses in the MSW program.
