MSU Denver is different. We’ve learned where online students struggle and have created programs and resources specifically to help overcome those challenges.
As an Online MSU Denver student, you work with a dedicated Student Success Coach, who provides personalized support throughout your online, academic journey. Your Student Success Coach assists you in navigating the institution by helping you to identify barriers, understand how to overcome them, and develop confidence in your self-advocacy. Specific efforts include, but are not limited to:
- Goal setting & strengths exploration
- Time management & organization
- Learning strategies & study skills
- Campus & personal resources
- Stress management, wellness, & self-care

Academic Help
- 24/7 online tutoring – On demand help through Canvas. The tutoring center also offers regularly scheduled drop-in tutoring via MS Teams. Explore the schedule here.
- Writing Center – Work with a consultant at any stage of your draft.
- Doc Drop – Submit writing and get feedback back in a few business days.
- Auraria Library research help – Chat, email, text, or set up research help.
- Research guides by subject
- Supplemental Instruction (SI) – Free, regular study sessions for select courses.
- LinkedIn Learning is free for MSU Denver students.

NetTutor’s 24/7 Virtual Tutoring
We are excited to announce a new partnership with NetTutor, which will offer 24/7 online tutoring support for all MSU Denver students. You can access NetTutor by logging into your Canvas account.
