For students requiring food assistance, the MSU Denver Roadrunner mobile food pantry will be available for all Auraria campus students as supplies last starting on Tuesday, March 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Walnut Lot, West 4th Street Denver. This event is scheduled to continue being held every two weeks on Tuesday’s from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the same location (subject to change). The mobile food pantry will be distributing pre-made boxes of supplies from the Walnut Lot, West 4th Street, located across from Lynx Crossing (formerly known as Campus Village). Students will be able to drive or walk-up to receive a box as social distancing measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all volunteers and students.
In addition to this event, The Roadrunner Food Pantry is supporting students by providing electronic gift cards to students in need to purchase groceries, while supplies last. In addition, we are working with students to determine eligibility for a meal delivery program. We are also available to discuss and complete SNAP applications to get food assistance.
To discuss any of these options, please contact the Student Care Center to discuss your needs by calling 303-615-0006, emailing [email protected] or filing a CARE Referral so that a case manager can follow up with you.
