Whether you’re looking to graduate early, enroll in that core class that normally fills up fast, or transfer credits back to your home university, the Summer semester at MSU Denver has everything you need and more. Take advantage of even smaller than normal class sizes and an expanded selection of online classes.
Why should you enroll in summer classes?
Previously, most full-time qualifying recipients could receive federal grants for the fall and spring semesters only. Now, the program has expanded to make grant recources available to students throughout the academic year.
Are you Pell eligible?
You might not be enrolled as an MSU Denver student yet. All you'll need to do is apply, but be sure to determine your student type first. If you're already enrolled at MSU Denver, there may be a hold on your account. Contact the Registrar for more information and assistance.
Do you want to take summer classes? Now you can qualify for an additional grant if you’re taking 6 or more credits, even if you've used your fall and spring grants, thanks to year-round Pell! Find out more about. Federal Pell Grants.
The maximum credit hours an MSU Denver student can register for the summer semester is 12. Students seeking to take on additional credits must have a Petition for Overload approved by their dean.
