Event: Alumni Community Read & Book Discussion

The alumni community read project will bring our community together by reading and discussing the same book – The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why it Matters by Priya Parker. We chose the book based on your votes! We hope to explore the theme of “community” and discuss what that means to us and how we can build more community in our own lives.
The reading period will be January 17, 2024-February 28, 2024 with a facilitated group discussion taking place on February 28, 2024. The group discussion will be hybrid – we will host an in-person option on campus and an online option for those who are not local.
The discussion will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. MST. For those attending in-person, we will provide a light dinner and beverages immediately following the discussion.
