The mission of this program is to provide professional enrichment to selected students, allow alumni to give back and help groom the next generation of business leaders, and further grow the power of the MSU Denver community. Alumni with 5 years of professional experience in Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Computer Information Systems, Analytics, or Entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply.

First Year Exploratory

The Alumni Association in collaboration with the Classroom to Career Hub-Student Support and Retention seeks to create strategic and meaningful opportunities to connect exploratory students with alumni for basic major/industry/career discovery and guidance. Alumni will be added to a resource directory for first-year students to contact as needed. This is not a formal mentorship program, rather an opportunity to make connections.

Admissions Ambassadors

Admission Ambassadors

The Alumni Admissions Ambassador program is an opportunity to represent the University in your community while helping recruit talented students to apply and attend MSU Denver. Responsibilities could include: Attending college fairs or high school visits with Office of Admissions staff, staffing tables at community events on behalf of the Office of Admissions, serving as an ambassador to your high school and/or community college alma mater, participating in Admissions Open Houses, or sending congratulatory notes to accepted students.

Rockies 50/50 Raffle

Join the MSU Denver Alumni Association and your fellow Roadrunners for a volunteer opportunity with the Colorado Rockies! We are seeking volunteers to assist with the 50/50 raffle at all home Rockies games at Coors Field for the 2021 season. Volunteers can expect a 6 hour time commitment per game and will be required to sell 50/50 tickets to fans throughout the stadium. 20% of all proceeds from raffle tickets sales will directly benefit the students of MSU Denver.

Guest Speaker

We are looking to build a list of alumni who are willing to visit campus and demonstrate real world application to students. Guest speakers can share their experiences and expertise by participating in a panel, leading a discussion, or providing a talk in a class session.
