MSU Denver Day of Giving

Great Scott! It’s time to Rise to the Future by joining fellow Roadrunners for the tenth annual MSU Denver Day of Giving!

This year, alumni, faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to hop into our DeLoran time machine and travel across the past, present and future at MSU Denver. Celebrate the University’s 60th anniversary, the 10th anniversary of Day of Giving and the final months of the Roadrunners Rise Campaign by making a gift that provides our students with the resources they need to succeed.

With over 100 featured projects, finding a fund or project that fits your passion will be easier than hitting 88 miles per hour!

The future is what you make it, so be the 1.21 gigawatts that power our mission, and support MSU Denver students by making your gift for Day of Giving! Together, we can Celebrate Our History while helping all Roadrunners Rise to the Future!

Thank you to our Day of Giving lead sponsor, Southwest Airlines, for empowering Roadrunners to take flight!

Ways to Get Involved

  1. Make a gift. Join the game and make your gift to any area on campus. Are you a faculty or staff member who participates in or is interested in giving through payroll deduction? If you start or increase your current gift, it will be included in this year’s Day of Giving challenge. Click here to give through MSU Denver payroll deduction.
  2. Create a match or challenge gift. Encourage others to make a gift by creating a match or challenge gift on any of our featured crowdfunding projects. When you make a gift to the Philanthropy Fund, your support will be used to set up match and challenge gifts on our featured projects!
  3. Share your Roadrunner Pride. Spread the word about giving day! Sign up to become a Social Media Advocate to receive our social media toolkit containing sample posts and photos.
  4. Follow us on social media. See the links below to our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn pages.
  5. Submit a Day of Giving Project Proposal. To be considered for promotion during MSU Denver Day of Giving, student clubs and organizations must submit a project proposal including a project title, brief description and an explanation of how the funds will be used. Crowdfunding projects must support a campus organization, fund, department or program. Examples of successful past projects can be found on the MSU Denver crowdfunding page, Give Campus.

Dancing Toward Greatness

Day of Giving funding helps the MSU Denver Dance program grow and reach those who need it most, like Dance major, Ashley. “As a child and teenager who often felt lost, dance helped me stay on a solid path in school. It is more than movement - it changes lives."
