During the session, students received guidance on how to correctly complete the OIA grid by identifying muscle origins, insertions, and actions. Students worked through examples and practiced completing portions of the grid independently with support.
In addition to content review, students were introduced to effective study techniques for learning muscle anatomy and were provided with strategies for organizing and retaining course material.
The session also served as an opportunity to promote Tutoring Center services. Several students indicated that they were either unaware of the Tutoring Center, unfamiliar with the resources available, or had not previously considered utilizing academic support services. Following the session, multiple students expressed interest in returning for tutoring assistance in the future.
Students were also introduced to additional campus resources, including the Pre-Health Society. This helped connect them with opportunities for academic and professional development beyond the classroom.
