SingleStop

What is Single Stop?

Single Stop at MSU Denver aims to connect students to local community and governmental resources that they may be eligible to for! Single Stop is an online screening tool that can estimate in minutes what public benefits students might be eligible to receive. Student Care Center staff are available to assist students in discussing eligibility, applying and follow up on these benefits and resources. If you have any questions or need help getting started, we can be reached at 303-615-0006 or you can file a CARE referral and a case manager will contact you to discuss more.

Government Benefits include SNAP (food assistance), Medicaid, Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Colorado WIC, Colorado Works (TANF), and more!

4 Simple Steps to Completing a Single Stop Screener

Complete the Screener Now!

  • Personal Information: Take 5-10 minutes to fill in your information. It will automatically calculate your eligibility for programs and services based off the information you provide.
  • Resource/Benefit Eligibility: Once you submit the online screener application, you will instantly see what services you may be eligible to receive. You can then apply for any public benefits you are interested in by selecting apply and completing the Colorado Peak and/or other online applications. Students have the option to utilize the screener and/or apply for benefits on their own, or they can reach out to the Student Care Center for support in either process if needed.
  • Follow-Up: A Case Manager in the Student Care Center will follow up to see if you have additional support questions.
