Important Deadlines

For Spring 2022, the priority deadline is October 1, 2021. Acceptance after the priority deadline is only granted if space in the program is available. The final application deadline for Spring 2022 is December 1, 2021.

Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics

  • The Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics provides experiential-focused education on advanced nutrition topics and delivers all course content in a convenient hybrid format.
  • The 39 credit hour MSND can be completed part-time or full-time.
  • Provides a Didactic Program in Dietetics option for those seeking to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs)
  • Provides current RDNs with a challenging curriculum that advances knowledge and skills relevant to the field of nutrition

Nutrition and Dietetics 3+2

  • The Nutrition and Dietetics 3+2 Program is designed to allow students to complete both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in a 5 year timeframe.
  • This accelerated degree pathway allows students without a prior Bachelor’s degree to more rapidly reach their goals of pursuing graduate studies and to move onto the next steps in their career which could include applying for Dietetic Internships (Master’s degree required to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist starting January 1, 2024).

Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science

  • The Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science provides quality education on advanced nutrition topics pertinent to current Registered Dietitians, healthcare professionals, or those seeking to expand nutrition knowledge for personal or professional growth.
  • The 12 credit hour Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science is offered in a convenient hybrid format.

Dietetic Internship at MSU Denver

  • The Dietetic Internship (DI) at MSU Denver is approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • This challenging and rewarding internship program is cutting edge, providing a Clinical Instructor model that only few programs in the nation offer.
  • Provides a focus on Urban Nutrition and a thorough foundation in several domains of nutrition practice working with culturally-diverse populations in a variety of urban settings.
