Description: Get ready to lace up and show your Roadrunner pride at the Annual Roadrunners 5k—our favorite Homecoming tradition! Whether you’re a speedster, a stroller, or somewhere in between, everyone’s welcome to join this fun run, jog, or walk weaving through the beautiful Auraria Campus.
Exciting news: We will be officially timing this year’s race—so you can challenge yourself or just set a personal best to beat next year!
The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line: after the race, stick around for a kids’ fun run (about ½ mile), plus a celebration featuring a mimosa bar, breakfast burritos, and great music to keep the good vibes going. Every participant gets a commemorative Roadrunners 5k t-shirt with registration.
- 8 a.m. Registration/Check-in (Coffee, bananas and granola bars available)
- 9 a.m. Fun Run/Walk Begins
- 9:30 a.m. Post Run Entertainment
Not in Denver? No problem! Sign up for our virtual option and complete your 5k from anywhere in the world on October 11—you’ll still snag that awesome Roadrunners 5k t-shirt and custom race bib.
All proceeds support MSU Denver’s men’s and women’s cross country programs—help us keep our student-athletes running strong!
Want to take things to the next level? Join the Roadrunner Duathlon! After the 5k, gear up with the Road Riders Cycling Club for a 10:30 a.m. ride, leaving from the AAC, and complete the 3rd Annual Roadrunners Duathlon. All duathlon participants get a special gift to celebrate their achievement!
