Friday, May 12, 2023 | Denver Coliseum (4600 Humboldt St. in Denver)
Morning Ceremony | 9:30 a.m.
College of Health and Applied Sciences
College of Business
Afternoon Ceremony | 2:30 p.m.
College of Letters, Arts and Sciences
School of Education
School of Hospitality
Each ceremony will last approximately two hours.
While we cover the logistics of the ceremony, we still need your help! You are cordially invited to volunteer as a marshal for MSU Denver’s Spring 2023 Commencement, where you get an up-close opportunity to cheer on your students as they walk across the stage. As you cheer them on, you can help point graduates (and their mortarboards) in the right direction and help with all the little things that make Commencement possible.
Because many of you have instructed, advised and mentored students on their journey to a degree, your participation is an integral part of the day.
A marshal role cheat sheet can be found here.
If you have questions or concerns, please email the commencement team via [email protected]
All marshals are required to rent regalia, unless you own your own. The deadline to order regalia is March 17 at 9:59 p.m. MST.
Regalia is free for all faculty and staff who order through the link above and pick up their regalia on campus or on Commencement Day in the assembly area.
Regalia pick-up at St. Cajetan’s
April 25-26 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
You can also choose the home ship option, where you will be required to pay two-way shipping ($15.95). If you choose home ship, you can drop your regalia off after the ceremony at the Herff Jones table, or you can mail it back with the return label you receive in your shipment.
