Commencement Expo
Fall 2026
The Commencement Expo will be held on the first floor of the Jordan Student Success Building on Thursday, September 10 from 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. There will be an accessibility hour available to students who have ADA needs from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
This event serves as an early opportunity for students to get ahead on everything they need to be prepared for Commencement and graduation, but not mandatory to attend. It is especially popular for students who wish to purchase their regalia early so they can take photos in their regalia throughout the semester.
Commencement Expo Activities
You’ll start by getting some information from the Commencement Team. They will share more about the event and give you a card that you can fill out and submit to win one of three giveaway prizes. They will also provide you with some handouts that you can reference at a later time.
The Graduation Team, which is part of the Registrar’s Office, will be available to answer any questions you may have about your graduation application and its status.
‘The Grad Team’ is our official photo vendor for the Fall 2026 Commencement ceremonies. They utilize specialized facial-recognition technology to help deliver your Commencement photos as quickly as possible after your ceremony. You can utilize their photo opportunity at this event to ensure they have the best images possible for matching.
Get set with all of the resources you need to stay connected with MSU Denver after you graduate, either through continuing education or resources from the Alumni Association.
Our regalia vendor, Herff Jones, will be on site to help you place your regalia rental order, check that it fits perfectly, and pack it up so you can take it home – all in the same day!
Regalia pricing for the Fall 2026 Commencement Expo is as follows:
Bachelor’s Rental Gown – $58
- Includes rental gown as well as a cap and tassel. The cap and tassel are yours to keep.
Master’s Rental Gown and Hood – $91
- Includes rental gown and hood as well as cap and tassel. The cap and tassel are yours to keep.
