Crisis Intervention
If you feel you need immediate assistance due to being in a crisis, the Counseling Center provides crisis appointments.
The MSU Denver Counseling Center will close at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 24thand remain closed through Friday, January 2nd.
We will resume our regular hours Monday, January 5th.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency, please call our 24/7 Crisis Line at 303-615-9911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. In addition to academic requirements, there are financial pressures, relationship concerns, and job stressors that can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. The Counseling Center staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place to examine your life and learn more about yourself so you can realize your potential. To find us, please take the Tower Elevator on the southeast side of the Tivoli Student Union across the hall from Quad Side Tavern. Go up to the 6th floor and the doors will open to the outdoors. Turn left and go down a small flight of stairs, or take the accessibility elevator to enter the MSU Denver Counseling Center, room 651.
