Winter Break Closure | December 25 - January 2
The MSU Denver Counseling Center will close at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 24thand remain closed through Friday, January 2nd.
We will resume our regular hours Monday, January 5th.

Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. In addition to academic requirements, there are financial pressures, relationship concerns, and job stressors that can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. The Counseling Center staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place to examine your life and learn more about yourself so you can realize your potential. Outreach & Events
Our Counseling Center outreach efforts are designed to reduce stigma around mental health struggles, provide psychoeducation to students, and promote mental health and well-being on campus.
Outreach Programs
We provide suicide awareness and prevention workshops and hold annual mental health events.
Outreach Requests
Request a counselor to present for your class or event. Please submit a request 2-4 weeks in advance of the event.
Mental Health Screening Events
We hold annual screening events for depression, eating disorders, and alcohol and cannabis use.

We are located in the Tivoli Student Union, Suite 651.
To find us, please take the Tower Elevator on the southeast side of the Tivoli Student Union across the hall from Quad Side Tavern. Go up to the 6th floor and the doors will open to the outdoors. Turn left and go down a small flight of stairs, or take the accessibility elevator to enter the MSU Denver Counseling Center, room 651.
