Student Leadership Programs

Student leadership programming provides diverse perspective on leadership and creates opportunities that can lead to transformational liberating results. Student leadership programs is centered on creating solidarity, acknowledging intersectionality, expanding social/civic engagement opportunities, and eliminating barriers by embracing the importance of identity throughout the college experience. Leadership co-curricular programming is vital in enhancing students’ professional, social and personal development through transformational leadership as they engage in leadership programs at MSU Denver.

Additional Resources

In addition to the CMEI, MSU Denver offers a number of opportunities for you to get engaged civically and to cultivate your leadership. This includes earning a minor in leadership studies, connecting with the Institute for Public Service, and Community & Civic Engagement.

Roadrunners Rock the Vote aligns with efforts from the American Democracy Project Committee at MSU Denver. This program helps encourage voting and civic engagement in local, state and federal elections.

Minor in Leadership Studies

The Minor in Leadership Studies offers students a conceptual understanding of leadership studies that, when combined with co-curricular and experiential components, provides them with an increased awareness of their role in a world of multi-layered change.
