Would You Like Virtual Assistance Completing the FAFSA?

We are excited to partner with the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) in delivering financial aid services to our students.

You can schedule a virtual FAFSA appointment with the EOC.

  • EOC representatives are still available to help MSU Denver students and families one-on-one with completing their aid applications via virtual appointments.

  • Contact the EOC by phone at: 303-352-8746

  • Text them at: 303-552-5344
  • Or email

It is important to file your FAFSA early as we may request additional information from you and/or your parents in order to complete your financial aid file.

MSU will award funds to students who have applied for aid, completed their file and meet all eligibility requirements. The amount of financial aid you are offered could depend, in part, on the date you completed your financial aid file. Early applicants have a better chance of being offered more types of financial aid depending on need.

All admitted MSU Denver students will receive an acknowledgment email once we have received their FAFSA each year. Be sure to check your MSU Student Hub for important updates.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS) is required to perform a qualitative (grade point average) and quantitative (completion rate) evaluation of a student’s academic record before financial aid can be disbursed. Let us help you keep your financial aid! If you received communications from our office pertaining to your SAP status and need to submit a SAP appeal, please click here for more info.
