Talking about salary can feel uncomfortable, but knowing how to advocate for your value is an important skill at every stage of your career.

Join Nicole Magloire, Associate Director of Industry Partnerships at Metropolitan State University of Denver, for an interactive workshop designed to help you approach salary and compensation conversations with greater preparation, confidence and strategy. 

Whether you’re evaluating a new job offer, preparing to ask for a raise, or simply want to better understand your market value, this session will give you practical tools to navigate compensation conversations effectively. 

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to: 

• Research salary ranges and understand your market value 
• Determine when—and how—to negotiate 
• Communicate your experience, accomplishments and value with confidence 
• Prepare for common questions, objections and responses during a negotiation 
• Look beyond base salary to evaluate benefits, flexibility and total compensation 
• Navigate conversations about raises and compensation in your current role 
• Know what to do when the answer is “no” 

You’ll leave with practical strategies and language you can use to confidently advocate for yourself in your next compensation conversation.
