President’s Award & Provost’s Award Nomination Form Recommendation Letter Submission Link

Self-nominations for the Fall 2026 President’s Award and Provost’s Award are now open!   

We welcome applications for the Fall 2026 President’s Award and Provost’s Award!

The award categories are: 

  • President’s Award (Winner will be a student Fall 2026 Commencement speaker!)   
  • Provost’s Award (Winner will be a student Fall 2026 Commencement speaker!)  

All awards are initiated through self-nomination. Please consider applying for these awards if you meet the criteria listed below.    

In order to be eligible, you must have applied to graduate in Fall 2026. If you have any questions regarding your graduation plan or eligibility to graduate, please discuss those questions with your academic advisor.  

The nomination deadline for ALL materials, including letters of recommendation, is Friday, September 4, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.  

 

PRESIDENT’S AWARD & PROVOST’S AWARD CRITERIA   

  • Undergraduate students who are graduating in the Fall 2026 semester are eligible to apply  
  • Cumulative MSU Denver GPA must be 3.75 or higher  
  • Minimum of 30 academic credit hours must have been completed at MSU Denver, or be in progress 
  • Superior academic achievement, community service, University service (academic, departmental, and/or programmatic) and/or other honors/awards should be described in application materials  
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Public speaking experience

(Note: be sure to have recommendation letters submitted by MSU Denver staff and/or faculty to support your nomination. Please direct the individuals writing letters of recommendation on your behalf to submit their recommendation through the letter of recommendation link).
