President’s Award & Provost’s Award Nomination Form Recommendation Letter Submission Link

Self-nominations for the Outstanding Student Awards, including the Fall 2025 President’s Award and Provost’s Award, are now open!   

We welcome applications the Fall 2025 President’s Award and Provost’s Award!

The award categories are: 

  • President’s Award (Winner will be a student Fall 2025 Commencement speaker!)   
  • Provost’s Award (Winner will be a student Fall 2025  Commencement speaker!)  

 

All awards are initiated through self-nomination. Please consider applying for these awards if you meet the criteria listed below.    

In order to be eligible, you must have applied to graduate in Fall 2025 (or have graduated in Summer 2025). If you have any questions regarding your graduation plan or eligibility to graduate, please discuss those questions with your academic advisor.  

The nomination deadline for ALL materials, including letters of recommendation, is Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.  

 

PRESIDENT’S AWARD & PROVOST’S AWARD CRITERIA   

  • Undergraduate students who are graduating in the Fall 2025 semester are eligible to apply  
  • Cumulative MSU Denver GPA must be 3.75 or higher  
  • Minimum of 30 academic credit hours must have been completed at MSU Denver, or be in progress 
  • Superior academic achievement, community service, University service (academic, departmental, and/or programmatic) and/or other honors/awards should be described in application materials  
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Public speaking experience
