MSU Denver serves the most diverse group of learners in higher education in the state with over half of Roadrunners identifying as students of color and 58% being among the first generation in their family to attend college. These are also Colorado’s students with 95% coming from communities across the state and nearly 80% staying here after graduation. MSU Denver is committed to meeting students wherever they are, addressing their diverse needs and creating an environment where every Roadrunner feels welcome and engaged.
The Student Success priority of our comprehensive campaign is inclusive of all programs, scholarships, services and opportunities that support MSU Denver’s strategic plan goal of attracting, developing, credentialing and graduating tenacious students who realize their goals and craft their futures.
To increase access through endowed funding for scholarships integrated with wrap-around supports, improved advisor-to-student ratios and strengthened community engagement.
MSU Denver aims to expand the Pacesetter Scholars Program across the university, providing meaningful financial aid, access to tutoring, mentoring, paid internship, wraparound services and programming to build community and skills.
