I have devoted my professional life to students who could not attain their educational goals through traditional programs and delivery models, and online learning opens the postsecondary doors to all students willing to work toward their future. My primary responsibility is to serve the growing MSU Denver online student population and the faculty, student services representatives, and administrators who assist them on their path toward graduation.
Roles and Reponsibilities:
Shape the mission and strategy of MSU Denver Online Learning and promote the benefits of online education to senior academic and administrative leadership. Develop the institutional online education model and implement the strategic plan through collaboration with the Board of Trustees, Faculty Senate, President, Provost, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Chief Operating Officer. Advocate for the approval and implementation of fledgling institutional policies and processes surrounding online courses and programs.

I am a UH Manoa Shidler College of Business alumna with a bachelor's degree in business management. I have worked in higher education for 9 years and started my career at MSU Denver with the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. As a student who struggled to gain access to education, I value deeply the mission of MSU Denver and strive to support any action that broadens access to higher education. I live with my partner and a small zoo of spoiled critters. If I'm not working, you can find me in my garden or camping with my sweetheart.

I have been part of the Roadrunner team for almost five years. Transitioning through positions within Enrollment Management, my most recent position before Online Learning was as the Assistant to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management. I now serve as Online Learning’s direct liaison for the enrollment management team as the Online Enrollment Initiatives Manager and continue to focus on digitizing the students enrollment experience. I became an alum of MSU Denver in 2018 after finishing my bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition – Dietetics. Though I do not wish to continue in the dietetics field, I am looking for opportunities to expand my education with a graduate degree in the coming years.

Megan Eastment joined the Roadrunner team in February of 2019 as the Project Manager for Online Learning. Megan comes from a background of environmental engineering, but also obtained a masters degree in engineering management with a focus in project management. Megan’s role as Project Manager for Online Learning has included the project management of the integration of new technology to enhance online learning, including the new LMS Canvas. She also is supporting the Online Learning budget and support faculty interested in developing their courses with the Center for Teaching, Learning and Design. Megan has previous experience in developing leadership courses, and hopes to continue her own education in Higher Education Leadership.

I am a MSU Denver alumna, with a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's degree in higher education from the University of Denver. I have worked in higher education for the past 8 years, focusing on student success and retention initiatives. Most recently, my passion lies in developing accessible opportunities for online learners, to aid in their personal and professional growth. I live in Westminster with my husband, son, and two dogs and enjoys hiking, camping, and attending concerts at Red Rocks.

Collaborate with and drive student success and retention efforts for online learners with the following areas: Student Engagement and Wellness, C2 Hub, LinkedIn Learning, online community development, tutoring services, post-admissions advising, and academic program supplemental orientations.
