Study Abroad Program in Italy
The OWOW Center offers an annual study abroad program to Italy with our partner university, Università per Stranieri di Perugia. In less than two weeks, students can earn three elective credits through this class taught partly in Rome and partly in Perugia, a picturesque Umbrian town approximately two hours northeast of Italy’s capital.
Open to undergraduate students (from MSU Denver or other universities) as well as non-degree-seeking participants, the course explores Italy’s water history from the aqueducts to the present day. A focus is on Italy’s agricultural (and wine!) heritage, building, and celebrating links between Italy and Colorado.
