Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
A: There are multiple possible holds you could have. First, please take note of the specific hold and communicate this with us, as it will make it easier for us to best direct you!
(Hint: The hold will often have an office name or phone number for you to contact.)
A: Multiple ways! You can:
A: Please make sure you register for the lecture and lab with the same section number — you cannot register for the lab without the lecture. To know what lecture goes with which lab, visit: https://www.msudenver.edu/advising-resources/ and scroll to the bottom box that says, “MTH Lab Pairings.”
A: Unfortunately, we do not provide overrides for “almost” scores on the Accuplacer. You are welcome and encouraged to study and try again — you have five free attempts per calendar year!
For the prerequisites and Accuplacer scores needed please see the Math Matrix.
A: The office of Testing Services is responsible for uploading your score. Typically, it takes up to one business day for the score to appear in the system. If you want to register sooner, please email us at: [email protected] with a copy of your score report and make sure the image includes your name, score, and the date the test was taken.
A: It may be that your test score is expired. We do not accept test scores from over 5 years ago. If your ACT/SAT score is expired we ask that you please take the Accuplacer.
A: Since each major has different requirements this question is best addressed to your academic advisor! To learn more about advising please visit: www.msudenver.edu/advising
