Thank you for attending a CLAS Advising and Registration session! Remember to complete these steps before classes begin and check out the list of helpful resources to find your footing on campus.
Important To-Dos
Learn about applying for COF on the Office of the Bursar website.
Learn how to send in your transcripts, including high school, college (concurrent and/or transfer), and GED transcripts, and your test scores, including English Proficiency Tests, ACT, SAT, AP, CLEP, IB, and/or Accuplacer on the Admissions website.
Learn how to take the First Year Writing Directed Self Placement survey and see which course you should register for on the Department of English website.
If you aren’t already registered for an Orientation Session, you can do so on the Orientation, Transfer, and Reengagement website.

Admissions (JSSB 180): helps students apply to MSU Denver.
Advising Systems (JSSB 107): helps students connect with their advisor.
Office of the Bursar (JSSB 150): provides billing statements, offers payment options and payment plans, processes refunds, and more.
Exploratory Advising (JSSB 170): helps students who have not decided on a major explore areas of study on campus.
Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (JSSB 130): helps students apply for and accept financial aid awards and scholarships.
ITS Help Desk (JSSB 130A): helps students get connected, access accounts, troubleshoot printing, and more.

Want to Explore Different Careers and Areas of Study?
Try Out Different Paths in Career Discovery
In this course, you’ll work with with a variety of organizations to complete hands-on projects and experience first hand what it’s like to work in high-demand fields across a wide range of career functions. You’ll meet online once a week and complete additional asynchronous content in between classes.
This is a great opportunity to explore careers, but this course, LASC 190A (CRN 54389 and 54390), will only count toward general elective credits. If you have questions about how this course applies to your general electives, or if you’re unsure whether you have available elective credits, talk to an Academic Advisor.
