Transcripts and Other Documents

At this time, we are encouraging all documents to be submitted electronically. Physical mail could be delayed due to the status of campus at that time. The Office of Admissions will continue to offer support for students through Virtual Online Resources - you can find all your options on the Focus Forward through COVID-19 page. Our Admissions team will continue to provide support where we can and help guide you through this, just like we would on any other day. This page is to navigate you through some ways we will continue to be available, even if not in person.

Things to remember

All hard copies of transcripts must be in an official sealed envelope from the issuing school, institution or agency. Electronic transcripts can only be delivered by the issuing institution. Forwarded transcripts will not be accepted as official.
  

REGISTRATION HOLD


If final official documents are not received by the start of classes a Registration Hold will be placed on the student account.

GED Transcripts

Go to www.ged.com - Do not order the GED diploma. Issuing institutions can e-mail the GED transcript

Test Scores


TOEFL or IELTS Scores

TOEFL: An official score must be sent directly from TOEFL Services; MSU Denver’s institution code is 4505.

IELTS: An official score must be delivered to MSU Denver’s IELTS Results Service E-Delivery account by the IETLS test center where you took the test. Please provide the following E-Delivery Account Name when requesting your scores: Metropolitan State University of Denver Undergraduate.

ACT

SAT, AP and CLEP

www.collegeboard.org; use the MSU Denver school code - 4505.

ACCUPLACER

Fill out accuplacer transfer score request form and submit to the testing center where you took the test.

Unofficial Transcripts, Letters of Recommendation and Personal Statements

These might be requested BEFORE the deadlines listed in order to make your initial admissions decision.


UPLOAD IT

Login to your admissions application account and upload your documents.

INTERNATIONAL

If you are an F-1 visa student, you are required to submit official documents for admission. Visit the international admissions page for more information. 


 


IF ADMITTED

An admissions decision can be made based on the information you reported on your application and unofficial documents when needed. If you're admitted, prior to attending, you will need to submit your official transcripts or GED score (and official test scores if applicable) to complete your file. Enrollment and financial aid can be impacted if you do not submit, so be sure to request them. If you will graduate from your current institution before you begin at MSU Denver, please wait to submit your transcripts until your final grades and graduation date have posted.
