More about this Skills Lab

As our world continues to move into the digital realm, organizations across all industries are adopting e-commerce solutions. E-commerce refers to any form of business transaction conducted online – such as online shopping, online auctions, payment gateways, online ticketing, and internet banking.

COVID-19 is transforming the e-commerce industry. Consumers are moving their spending online, and e-commerce businesses are experiencing sizable growth. U.S. retailer’s online revenue growth is up 68 percent compared to 2019.

Colorado is expecting e-commerce employment to grow by eight percent by the end of 2021. Additionally, nearly half of American small businesses do not yet have websites, meaning potential employers are plentiful. eCommerce jobs are changing the job landscape by giving employees the chance to find work that suits their skills, talents, interests, and experience more easily.

MSU Denver’s Skills Lab training could potentially lead to positions such as product manager, logistics coordinator, marketing manager, content developer, and more.
