Career Launchpad online courses are also developed as standalone short courses that provide a critical introduction and key skills required in a range of industries. These short courses take 4-8 weeks to complete and are self-paced online programs which allows students to complete them at their own pace, in their own time.

How certificates and stackable credentials work together
Each course works as standalone education or has different career and academic pathways. Once you successfully complete the course, you can immediately enter the workforce with newly learned skills. Or you can convert the course to three credits and continue to an MSU Denver certificate or degree.
You will receive a digital badge embedded with the competencies learned. You can include this badge on your resume, LinkedIn page, portfolio, or share it with an employer. Students will also receive a certificate of completion.
The cost to convert Career Launchpad courses to credit is currently included in tuition
The cost for the Credit-By-Exam (CBE) is currently included in course tuition for all eligible students. Eligibility is based on completing the course and instructor approval.
The CBE is made up of additional course modules or might be a final project or paper. Each course is slightly different. Students still need to register for the CBE and finish within the dates listed.
