NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor (for non-schedule A positions) or with the Department of Homeland Security (for Schedule A positions). This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 consecutive business days, ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Professor, Health Care Management
POSITION DUTIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Health Management. Develop courses, advise students, complete scholarship activities and provide service to the University and the community. Normal teaching load will be 12 credit hours per fall and spring terms. Courses to be taught include: Health Care Finance; Health Economics; Principles of Healthcare Management; Strategic Management in Healthcare; Human Resources Management in Healthcare; Health Research Methods; Health Information Systems; and Health Disparities
Education requirements include: Terminal degree in Economics, Management, Health Management, Health Administration, Health Policy, Health Systems, Public Health, Health Services, Health Sciences, or closely related field; ABD in required field provided degree conferred by Aug 1, 2020; Resume to: A. RATE OF PAY: The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor
