Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
The Office of Faculty Affairs coordinates a variety of functions associated with faculty life and academic programming on the MSU Denver campus. This office is a branch of the Office of Academic Affairs, supports the University’s mission and vision, and is dedicated to excellence in teaching, scholarly activities, and service.
Major office functions include approving department evaluation guidelines; reviewing recommendations for emeritus status, leaves, sabbaticals, transitional retirement, retention, reappointment, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review; implementing policies pertaining to reassigned time; and processing faculty personnel actions requiring approval by the University’s Board of Trustees and President.
We are now accepting applications for the Presidential Faculty Fellows Program for 2022. This year-long program will provide selected faculty the opportunity to gain a “behind the scenes” view of the administration of the University at the highest levels. The Presidential Faculty Fellow will receive 15 hours of reassigned time for each of the spring 2022 and fall 2022 semesters and will work full-time in collaboration with President Davidson and her Senior Leadership Team. We have extended the application deadline to November 5th, 2021.
