HVAC project update

The state-funded AHEC HVAC improvement project spanning the West and Central Classroom buildings has officially been scheduled for spring and summer 2024. Also known as Project B, this initiative will provide new, modern heating and cooling systems, meaning a more comfortable working and learning environment for all.

Work is scheduled to begin in March 2024 and will require some department relocations in addition to those required by the Sim Labs project. Impacted departments have already been notified and will receive support and resources throughout the project. Project B will overlap with the Nursing Sim Lab project, creating some project efficiencies but also extending the duration of some department displacements. Impacted departments have been notified.

Health and safety are our top priorities, and we will keep the University community informed throughout the process. Please stay tuned for details.

Stay safe and be prepared

Thank you again for staying up to date on all the exciting things happening at MSU Denver.

Sincerely,

Larry Sampler, chief operating officer, vice president for Administration
