Yes! We have students in our program from a variety of backgrounds; having a computer science or computer information systems background is definitely helpful as our program can be quite technical, but we offer introductory classes that can help bridge the gap somewhat if you feel that you need to gain more knowledge (i.e. CSS 2751 Principles of Cybersecurity).
36 credits.
Internships are optional and the credits will not count towards the required 36 credits for the CYBM program.
Yes, in order to complete the program successfully, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 average every semester.
Students may transfer up to 6 graduate-level credits into the CYBM program upon approval by the CYBM program.
We have in-classroom, online, and hybrid options to complete your degree. Most in-classroom classes are held in the evening.
Yes, we have full time and part time options.Do keep in mind that classes are only offered once a year, so the part-time option means it will take you much longer to complete the program. In addition, most classes have pre reqs and are sequential in nature.
For the academic year 2022 – 2023, the cost is $500.00 per credit for a total of 36 credits (plus fees). Please visit the Bursar’s Office website to view our detailed Tuition & Fees chart.

Is financial aid available for the CYBM program?
Yes, students enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester may qualify for financial aid. We also have a very limited number of scholarships available to full-time students.
