Q: What happens if I can’t finish my classes this semester?
A: Please contact our office before making modifications to your class schedule so we can assist you in making the most beneficial and informed decisions for your individual situation.?
Q: Can I talk to a representative one-on-one?
A: Yes! Our representatives will continue to be available for one-on-one assistance via email or phone.
Q: I still have a balance due. How can I make a payment?
A: MSU Denver accepts the following forms of payment for tuition and fees charges. Funds may not exceed the total amount of tuition and fees charges for the given semester. Payments received for more than the total amount of charges may be refused.
Check, Money Order, or Cashier’s Check
Check, Money Order, and/or Cashier’s Check can be mailed. Please make payable to MSU Denver and provide the student ID number to ensure the payment is applied to the correct student account. Checks may be electronically processed. MSU Denver will not honor postdated checks. All check payments will be process when received regardless of the date on the check. Currently, checks are being processed once a week while our offices operate remotely.
Web check payments (or ACH payments) can also be process online, through the StudentHub, under the Pay Tuition link. The Office of the Cashier encourages verifying that your financial institution allows for these types of payment prior to submitting payment.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express payments can be processed over the phone or online through the StudentHub Pay Tuition link.
MSU Denver accepts 529 Plan payments, as well as other college savings funds, for tuition and fees charges. Funds received from a 529 Plan may not exceed the total amount of tuition and fees charges for the given semester. Payments received for more than the total amount of charges may be refused and returned to the 529 Plan financial institution.
These payments can be completed in two ways:
- If your plan is a CollegeInvest Direct Portfolio College Savings Plan you can link your account and complete payment online, via the StudentHub. Please note, there is a service fee associated with processing the payment in this manner.
- Have your plan mail a check. These payments must be requested directly through your plan. They are not initiated through MSU Denver. If possible, funds should be sent directly to the Office of the Cashier. Please be sure to allow sufficient time for the 529 Plan financial institution to process and mail this payment.
