Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Educational institutions are required to file a Form 1098-T, Tuition Statement, with the IRS and to provide a copy of the form to the student, for each enrolled student for whom there is a reportable transaction. A reportable transaction includes payments received, or refunds made for tuition and related expenses.
On this page you can navigate to different topics about the 1098-T such as obtaining the 1098-T, tax identification compliance, and FAQs. If you get stuck, feel free to contact us.
If you are an active student, your 1098-T will not be mailed to you. You can access your 1098-T online.
TO ACCESS YOUR 1098-T INFO FROM STUDENT HUB
To access your 1098-T electronically through the Student Hub to download and print from your computer, follow the steps below.

You can also fill out the W-9S Form and either fax, email or hand deliver to the Office of the Bursar.

Depending on your immigration status you may be eligible to apply for a Social Security Number. To determine your eligibility, refer to the Social Security Administration’s publication, Social Security Numbers for Noncitizens.
If you are ineligible to receive a Social Security Number, you may apply for the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
