Fundamentals of Wedding Planning is a noncredit professional development course designed for learners aspiring to become wedding planners. Furthermore, if you want to plan your own wedding, we encourage you to use this course as a guide to avoid common pitfalls and learn the ins and outs of everything you need to know to make your special event perfect.
This wedding planning course covers must-know topics such as understanding the basics of an event budget, identifying vendors needed for special events, and applying various event management competencies to the process of planning an event.
This introductory wedding planning course serves as an ideal starting point to pursue a career in event or wedding planning and can be used toward an MSU Denver credential or degree.
Fundamentals of Wedding Planning is $450 with a $35 transaction fee per payment. No textbook required!
The Fundamentals of Wedding Planning course introduces students to the basic concepts involved in becoming a professional wedding planner.
In addition to the expert instructor with over 23 years of wedding planning experience, this wedding planner course also includes professional vendors sharing their insights into photography, venue choice, catering, floral design, and hiring a DJ, along with other aspects of planning large-scale events and creating unforgettable weddings.
This course provides an introduction to managing an independent wedding planning business, the foundation for additional event planning courses, or even continuing on to a degree in Event and Meeting Management. The wedding planner course is also perfect for anyone planning their own wedding.
Once you successfully complete the wedding planner fundamentals course, you can immediately enter the event planning workforce with newly learned skills. You will receive a digital badge embedded with the competencies learned. You can include this badge on your resume, LinkedIn page, portfolio, or share it with an employer. Students will also receive a certificate of completion.
