Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships

2017-2018 FAFSA Information

‌Students may now complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA for academic year (Fall 2017, Spring 2018, Summer 2018). Students will be able to use federal tax information from 2015.  This will make the FAFSA easier to complete and allow students and/or parents to use the Federal IRS Data Retrieval Tool. It is always important to file your FAFSA early as the office of financial aid may request additional information from you and/or your parents to complete your financial aid file. Apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Our office will award funds to students who have applied early, complete their file, meet all requirements and have the greatest need. The amount of financial aid you are offered could depend, in part, on the date you completed your financial aid file. Early applicants have a better chance of being offered more types of financial aid depending on need.

All admitted MSU Denver students will receive an email when financial aid has received the fafsa. Check your MSU Student Hub for important updates.
