Lavender Graduation Celebration
The LGBTQ Student Resource Center hosts a Lavender Graduation celebration every Spring semester for all Auraria graduates interested in receiving a rainbow stole to wear at Commencement, honoring their connection to or support of the LGBTQ+ community. During this celebration, graduates will also receive a free dinner with their chosen guests. Graduates who cannot attend Lavender Graduation are still able to receive a rainbow stole.
Fall 2025 Update
There will no longer be a Fall Lavender Graduation celebration, but graduates will still have an opportunity to receive a rainbow stole. The best way to learn more about receiving a rainbow stole for Commencement is to join the LGBTQ Student Resource Center email list.
